Gently

Croon her with your gentle words
The frown she wears
she knows you like it better when its upside down
Don't let her feet slip from the path shes on
The path she chose of glass
A slip could crack more the a fraction of a piece
Hold her up
Take her hand
Doesnt matter
Just dont let her slip
The fire blazing where your hand was in the past
No one asked to see how she was
Stuck in a mental maze of fibs
A feeling barred in by the gentle cage of ribs
Shes just about out of her mind
The blinding light she might just find
Shes in over her head
Shes bound to the ground
lift her up
Against the gravity she found thats holding her down
Place her feet back gently on the ground
Breaking all the gently placed rules
The golden lark watches from above
As she comes down
Gently pressed to the ground
Despite all that we made of it
Were all afraid of the change
Be my guest
Take her gently by the hand
And bring her gently back to the ground
Onto a path made of more then glass
The broken pieces are mended
Stapled back together in a ridged line down the middle
The bars of the subtle cage
Feel the newly met beat of not fear but of the unknown
Taking chances by meeting your gaze
The fire burns stronger then ever along the trail left behind your hand
Shes the victim of circumstance
Shes a vision of a dream
Not sure what shes feeling
She'll need a miracle
She'll need someone like you
If shes ever going to get back to the ground
So croon her with your gently placed words
And then she might be found
